Meet Attorney Linda Eckelman
Experienced Lawrence criminal defense lawyer
Linda has spent her almost three-decade legal career fighting for her clients' rights in Dodge City. A more conservative area, she had to work hard to be heard and taken seriously and ensure her clients had a fair chance in court. Her work ethic, commitment to clients and battle-tested litigation skills have established her as one of the most prominent and feared criminal defense attorneys in the area. In fact, while she made some television appearances and advertising efforts, most of her clients have come to her through word of her reputation and references from past clients to their families and friends.
In 2011 Linda moved Eckelman Law Office LLC to Lawrence to provide legal service to northeastern Kansas, including the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. She still represents clients against the most serious charges — off-grid and Level I felonies — because she genuinely feels that everyone is entitled to a vigorous legal representation. Linda often serves as a court-appointed lawyer for those unable to afford an attorney, and she treats those cases exactly as she would any other client.
Linda currently sits on the Board of Governors for Kansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Please read below for more information on Linda, or simply call 877.478.5692 or contact the firm online to schedule your free initial consultation and begin your case.
